In 2007-2008, REALMS was the only middle school in Bend to meet AYP. We are exceptionally proud of the hard work our students and staff have done and are pleased to demonstrate that active and experiential learning can and does lead to strong academic achievement for students at REALMS!

AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) is a measure made by the federal government as part of the No Child Left Behind Act. Rigorous academic standards as measured by standardized test scores compose most of the data that goes into the calculation for AYP.
