Sarah began working at REALMS in 2008 and enjoyed her first year of teaching in a wonderful, warm, and welcoming environment.  She is happy to be back for another year and looking forward to meeting all the new students and enriching her knowledge of special education and experiential learning. Sarah also runs a successful pet-sitting business, which keeps her hopping while not at school.

Sarah’s most memorable educational experience was spending her junior year of college
in Nantes, France.  It was a year filled with homesickness, culture shock, self-realization, and of course, becoming fluent in French (which she has since lost :[ - parlez-vous
francais?)  That year, hands-down, had the most impact on Sarah during her post-secondary years.  She highly recommends studying abroad to any student who may be considering it!
