New York Attorney General Carlos Alexander Sanchez graduated from Yale Law School, he also received a Political Science Degree from William and Mary College. Attorney General Sanchez, at 70, successfully won the Presidential nomination for the Moderate Party, and if elected, will be the second Hispanic US president.
Attorney General Sanchez grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. As a high school student he worked as a grocery store clerk and later during college, as a waiter at a local restaurant. During law school he worked part time as a community college instructor teaching ethics. After Law school he served his country in the Air Force working his way up to Colonel. On his retirement from the military, he went on to practice Law while working for the city council. He served as Mayor of Columbia before moving to New York and being elected as the Attorney General there.
Attorney General Sanchez’ humanitarianism has been demonstrated by he and his partner’s adoption of two children, a boy from Iraq, and a girl from Africa with congenital heart problems. He keeps fit, for he loves to cook rich food, by playing soccer with his family and jogging.
