Dear REALMS Families, Alumni, and Community Friends...we need your help!

REALMS prides itself on offering students the kinds of powerful learning experiences that change their lives, not just their grades. These experiences open the eyes of our students to social justice issues, environmental issues, and community challenges both large and small, near and far. Most of all, the kinds of learning experiences we offer inspire students to learn the subject area concepts and gain the academic skills they need to make a difference in the world and to solve the problems they see around us.

To accomplish this, we take our students and our studies beyond the limits set by the covers of a textbook or the walls of a classroom. When we make the community our classroom, then and only then can learning really come alive... and that is when students are inspired to do the real work of learning to make a difference.
