The REALMS Online Auction is now CLOSED! Congratulations to all of our bidders and winners - we will be notifying you by email if you are the winner of an item. Later this weekend we will have the blogs back online so you can see the bidding history if you are interested!
REALMS is conducting its first online auction ever! This auction is a great way to support the fieldwork program at REALMS and maybe even get a great bargain at the same time. All the items for auction are items from our silent auction at the 2009 Warren Miller Movie Fundraiser.
Auction Opens: Tuesday April 7th, 2009 @ 9:00am
Auction Closes: Friday April 17th, 2009 @ 3:00pm
Auction Rules:
- All bids occur online through a post to the blog for the specific item sought.
- Bidders must provide a valid email address with their bid.
- The minimum bid increment is $5.00.
- The highest bidder at the time of auction close wins. Items are not returnable.
- The winner of each item will be contacted within 24 hours of auction close.
- For more information about any specific auction item please call the REALMS office.
- Bidders are not allowed to contact each other regarding bids or items sought.
- The email addresses will be used only for the purposes of contacting the item winners and will not be used for solicitation or any other purposes.
- All the bid pages will be removed from the internet within 24 hours of auction close.
How to View Items and Place a Bid:
- To view a description of the items for auction simply click on the item you are interested in on the right side of this page.
- To place a bid, go to the page for the item you are interested in and click on the "Post A Bid" button.
- This button will show you the history of "Comments" in which people have placed bids.
- To add a new bid enter your name in the name field, and in the "Comment" field enter a valid email address and your bid
- Hit "Preview Comment"
- Then, if you are satisfied with your bid, hit "Post Public Comment"
- Your bid will then show up at the top of the list
