Welcome prospective parents and students!

REALMS is open to all students in the Bend LaPine School District. We are a tuition free, public charter school, with class sizes of approximately 23 students per class. In the 2010-2011 school year we will enroll a maximum of 125 students, with 2 classes of 6th and 7th grade students and 1 class of 8th grade students. We accept applications throughout the year, however enrollment for the next school year is based on a lottery in late March.

We strongly encourage all families (parent and student) to attend one of our Information Nights as a part of applying to REALMS. Between now and then, please feel free to explore this web site as a way to familiarize yourself with our approach to teaching and learning!

Information Nights for Prospective Families are scheduled for:

• Thursday February 18th, 2010.          6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at REALMS
• Monday February 22nd, 2010.           6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at REALMS

For those interested in getting a "real time" feel for what learning is like in REALMS classrooms, a school visit can be scheduled in March AFTER attending one of our Information Nights!
